Breakfast Forums:
Feature timely topics and important community speakers monthly. Network with over 200 business leaders. Held the first Wednesday of every month.

Professional Networking Receptions:
Meet new and exciting people at business-card networking functions. Held at prominent North Shore locations with hors d’oeuvres and entertainment. Average attendance is 150 people.

Young Professionals Network :
The goal of this group is to provide a professional development program designed to engage and introduce young professionals to the North Shore's vast resources and opportunities. The YPN helps to improve its members' networking skills, expand their contact base, and provides the opportunity to promote themselves and their business with like-minded, ambitious peers.

6-Minute Networking:
Works in a similar nature to the already popular "speed dating" where attendees have the opportunity to quickly meet with a number of business professionals to see if there is a mutual connection. Attendees meet participants, one-on-one, for six minutes. Then they will move on to another 6-minute "mini-meeting" with the next person for up to 40 people.

North Shore Business Leads Group:
This group becomes a networking environment where one can build relationships with other business professionals - "Face-to-Face". During the leads group, other members will become familiar with your business and learn how they can refer you to their own circle of contacts. Members can give a "2-minute commercial" about their business and network with each other. Participants should bring a business card for each of the 30 attendees. Word of mouth is the best and most effective means of advertising around.

Legislative Affairs Group:
Meet Senators and Representatives and discuss important issues such as transportation, health care, affordable housing, workforce development, education, and energy issues that impact the North Shore.

Human Resources Professionals Group:
Monthly discussion of issues impacting local businesses in the HR sector.

Annual Event Descriptions

North Shore Business to Business Expo:
a 2,500 person, B2B conference and expo held in February featuring nearly 100 exhibiting companies and special conference speakers. Make invaluable contacts at the largest expo north of Boston.

Honors Scholars Recognition Dinner:
1,000 person banquet in May honoring top five percent of graduating seniors from twenty-nine North Shore primary and secondary schools. It’s a great opportunity to bridge business and education by sponsorship of scholars.

Summer Golf Tournaments:
Do business on the course at one of our premier, summer business golf events. Outings are held north of Boston and played at region’s most exclusive golf courses. Designed for networking, find your best customer here!

Membership Drive:
Join over 150 North Shore Business Leaders in October at this fun and exciting event! Volunteers learn telemarketing and sales skills from SDA while fostering relationships with North Shore Firms. All compete for Grand Prizes, Tropical Destinations and B&B getaways!

Annual Dinner:
a 91 year-old tradition of celebrating regional prosperity, its the largest gathering of business leaders on the North Shore, attracting nearly 1,000 attendees. Past Speakers include: Ted Kennedy, Mitt Romney, John Kerry, Kerry Healey, Deval Patrick and others.
